1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your registration of interest and potential participation in Padelist — The Cape Coast Padel Retreat (the "Retreat"). By submitting a registration form, you agree to these terms.

2. Registration of Interest

Submitting a registration form constitutes an expression of interest only and does not guarantee a place on the retreat. All registrations are subject to availability and approval.

3. Booking and Payment

Pricing: The retreat is priced at £2,200 per person for the Founders Edition.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £750 is required to secure your place. This will be confirmed in writing after your registration is approved.

Full Payment: The balance of £1,450 must be paid no later than 60 days before the retreat start date.

4. Cancellation Policy

By You:

  • Cancellations more than 90 days before departure: Deposit forfeited, balance refunded
  • Cancellations 60-90 days before departure: 50% of total cost forfeited
  • Cancellations less than 60 days before departure: 100% of total cost forfeited

By Us:

In the unlikely event that we must cancel the retreat, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, or the option to transfer to a future retreat date.

5. What's Included

Your retreat package includes:

  • 7 nights accommodation
  • Private room
  • Daily padel coaching and play
  • All local transfers during the retreat
  • Hosted group experience

6. What's Not Included

The following are not included and are your responsibility:

  • International flights to/from South Africa
  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
  • Optional safari or add-on activities
  • Personal expenses and gratuities
  • Meals not specified in the program

7. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal liability. Proof of insurance is required before the retreat.

8. Health and Fitness

Participants should be in reasonably good health and able to participate in daily physical activity including padel coaching and play. Please inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or accessibility needs.

9. Liability

While we take every care to ensure your safety and enjoyment, participation in the retreat and all activities is at your own risk. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

10. Code of Conduct

We expect all participants to:

  • Treat fellow participants, staff, and locals with respect
  • Arrive on time for scheduled activities
  • Follow safety guidelines and local laws
  • Respect the accommodation and facilities

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed disruptive or unsafe, without refund.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or travel restrictions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
